Research Overview:

Our lab focuses on understanding how macrophages detect and eliminate disease-causing cells. Using powerful genetic screening approaches, we aim to comprehensively discover the molecular signals that macrophages sense to discern between healthy and abnormal cells. More broadly, we are interested in defining the molecular basis of diverse macrophage “failure modes” in cancer and other age-related diseases in order to potentiate the next generation of macrophage-mediated immunotherapies.
